The next General Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, for the purpose of electing three members to the City Council for full, four-year terms. No measures shall be submitted to voters at this Election.

Please note that the Nomination Period for these offices is from July 13, 2015, to August 7, 2015. If an incumbent fails to file Nomination Papers within the prescribed allotted time, then the filing period is extended to August 12, 2015. (Incumbents may not file in the extended Nomination Period).
Candidate binders and related election materials will be available in the City Clerk's office at City Hall (26 Corte Madera Ave.) during the Nomination Period. It is suggested that you make an appointment with the City Clerk to pick up or drop off election materials and filings -- as this process may take up to an hour.

Register to Vote
Residents who have moved or changed their name must re-register to be eligible to vote in future elections. Postage-paid, preaddressed registration forms may be obtained from any post office, city/town hall, public library or fire station in Marin County.
Register to Vote in Person
Residents may also register to vote in person at the Marin County Registrar of Voters' Office. Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The phone number is 499-6456, and the fax number is 499-6447. If you have moved or changed your name you must re-register to be eligible to vote in any future elections.
