City Takes Steps to Reduce Traffic Around Hwy. 101 Overpass

Sewer Lining - Day and Night Work Scheduled

September 6, 2017 

As a part of the Miller Avenue Streetscape Project, the City's contractors will repair the public sewer pipes along Miller Avenue using a construction method call "cured-in-place pipe" (CIPP), which involves installing a flexible tube that gradually hardens to form a rigid, smooth surface that seals cracks and restores the sewer pipe lining.

City Council to Discuss the Next Phase of Miller Avenue Streetscape Project

March 2, 2017 

At their upcoming March 6, 2017 meeting, the City Council will receive a report on upcoming paving work, which is the next phase of construction for the Miller Avenue Streetscape Project. Repaving of the roadway is anticipated to cause disruptions and impacts to the community in regards to traffic congestion, limited vehicle access, detours and noise.

Bus Stop Relocation

January 26, 2017 

The bus stop that was in front of Joe's Taco Lounge has been relocated across Montford Avenue in front of Jiffy Lube. A custom transit shelter has been designed as part of the project and will undergo construction once design details are finalized.

City Secures $1.06 Million for Flood Control – Immediate Improvements to Follow

SASM Announces Sale of Revenue Bond for $38 million to Improve Wastewater Facility

November 3, 2016 

The Sewerage Agency of Southern Marin (SASM) has announced the sale of $38 million in sewer revenue bonds through a competitive bidding process, after the bond issuance was granted an AA positive rating by Standard & Poor's Rating Service. The SASM Board approved a bond issue in the fall of this year to facilitate critical upgrades and improvements to the SASM wastewater treatment plant located in Mill Valley.
