Sycamore Park Restroom Update

Sewer Repair Scheduled for Wednesday Evening

April 4, 2018 

Work crews will be conducting sewer repairs on Wednesday, April 4 from approximately 8:00 pm until 3:00 am at 213 Belvedere Drive, in the Strawberry neighborhood of unincorporated Mill Valley. The repairs require trucks to operate on Ashford Avenue and Lomita Drive in the City of Mill Valley and on Thomas Drive and Central Drive in unincorporated Marin County.

SASM Awards Contract to Begin Implementation of the Master Plan

Sewer Lining - Day and Night Work Scheduled

December 4, 2017 

As a part of the Miller Avenue Streetscape Project, the City's contractors will repair the public sewer pipes along Miller Avenue using a construction method call "cured-in-place pipe" (CIPP), which involves installing a flexible tube that gradually hardens to form a rigid, smooth surface that seals cracks and restores the sewer pipe lining.

Zero Breast Cancer Walk to Detour onto Millside Lane, Marion Avenue and Hazel Avenue this Saturday 9/23

September 21, 2017 

This Saturday, 9/23, the Zero Breast Cancer Walk will come through Mill Valley for their annual event. Their usual route takes them up the three sections of the Dipsea Steps, but this year, the Middle Dipsea Steps are closed for construction. The Zero Breast Cancer Walk will therefore take a short detour onto Millside Lane, then up Marion Avenue, and then up Hazel Avenue to connect to the Upper level of the steps.

City Takes Steps to Reduce Traffic Around Hwy. 101 Overpass

Bus Stop Relocation

City Secures $1.06 Million for Flood Control – Immediate Improvements to Follow

SASM Announces Sale of Revenue Bond for $38 million to Improve Wastewater Facility

The Sewerage Agency of Southern Marin (SASM) has announced the sale of $38 million in sewer revenue bonds through a competitive bidding process, after the bond issuance was granted an AA positive rating by Standard & Poor's Rating Service. The SASM Board approved a bond issue in the fall of this year to facilitate critical upgrades and improvements to the SASM wastewater treatment plant located in Mill Valley.
