After Hours: Naked Truth

They told some of our favorite stories when we were just starting our series around 2011 and helped us build a loyal following. Josh Healey returns as emcee along with Jeff Greenwald, Doug Cordell, and Kari Kiernan to show true, live storytelling at its best, featuring special guest Don Reed.

If you have a story, we want to hear it! Throw your name in the hat to tell your first-hand one-minute story in our optional audience lightning round.

Doug Cordell is an NPR radio storyteller, performer and Emmy-nominated writer. His autobiographical radio stories air on Snap Judgment and Marketplace. Listen to his stories and find out about upcoming shows at

Jeff Greenwald is the author of six popular travel books, including Shopping for Buddhas, The Size of the World (for which he created the first international travel blog), and Snake Lake. Jeff’s one-man show, Strange Travel Suggestions, premiered in SF in 2003. Jeff is Executive Director of Ethical Traveler and hosts the recently launched Ethical Traveler Podcast.

Kari Kiernan is a writer and storyteller whose work has appeared in Skirt!, The Morning News and onstage at Porchlight, The Vent, and Literary Death Match.

Don Reed (HBO, Pop Up Magazine) is an entertainer. Works include: “Unleashed” on Netflix, a streaming comedy series “Bartlett,” five solo shows Off-Broadway and Bay Area - including “East 14th.” Other credits include "I Miss Toni," the Snap Judgment 2016 Performance of the Year, The Flintstones, DMV, "A Different World," and "Partners in Crime."
