Discover the magical world of shadow puppetry with Daniel Barash and The Shadow Puppet Workshop. Daniel teaches the art of shadow puppetry while telling a Southeast Asian folktale. Audience participation included!

Tuesday, July 10, 11am: To the Farallons and Back: A Mermaid Puppet Story | Ages 2-5
Delight in a fairytale puppet show featuring a scrolling back-drop set beneath the waves at the Farallon Islands. Sing sea chanties and mermaid melodies with puppet artist Risa Lenore.

Tuesday, July 10, 7pm: Drawing 101 with Artist Tom Lamar | Grades 6-9
Learn the fundamentals of three-dimensional drawing. You’ll use perspective to change circles to spheres and learn to think with your pencil to sketch fast without holding back.

Wednesday, July 11, 3:30pm: Puppeteer Nick Knave | All ages
Puppeteer Nick Knave presents Wolfie’s Puppet Party – a rocking, rolling, ridiculously good time. Featuring stories and songs hosted by the irrepressible Wolfie T. Wolfe.

Thursday, July 12, 3:30pm: Stretch It, Shape It, Grow It | Grades K-2
A Bay Area Discovery Museum educator will lead kids through different brain stations. Kids will plan their dream party, balance on one foot, draw a map
