The Mill Valley Police Department would like to partner with the community for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. This is a national community-building campaign that promotes community policing partnerships. It aims to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve, by creating a safer and more connected community. National Night Out is also a great opportunity for members of a community to meet their fellow neighbors and become more engaged within the community.
Neighborhoods across the nation participate in a variety of ways: through block parties, cookouts, and other activities that bring the community together. You can learn more about National Night Out here.
The Mill Valley Police Department will attend all events that neighborhoods organize for the communities that they serve. Officers will be ready to answer any questions or talk about concerns you may have during their visit. To register your event with the MVPD, contact Community Service Officer Chris DeLaTorre at (415) 389-4100 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
