PG&E will be trimming trees as part of their Wildfire Safety Program.
PG&E has determined that vegetation on certain areas of Rose Avenue and Hazel Avenue are a priority for vegetation clearing, including trees and shrubs near power lines, poles and in areas determined to be fire access routes for vehicles and fire crews.
They plan to work in a manner that will not require road closures, however field conditions may require isolated, short-term closures to ensure worker and public safety
Work crews will begin work on Monday, September 10, and will continue for up to 2 weeks.
The City will post an updated schedule with road closure information when it is provided to us by PG&E.
Questions may be directed to PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.
