Parking During Construction: Where can I park?

July 1, 2016

Click here for the Miller Avenue Online Parking Map - A map of alternative parking spaces during the Miller Avenue Streetscape Project. Please note that construction may affect the availability of some spaces on any given day.

Additional Unrestricted Parking: Crews have re-striped Miller Avenue between Willow Street and Millwood Avenue to create temporary parking during construction by removing one vehicular travel lane. The new parking created along the curb is unregulated (no time limit), but overnight parking is prohibited.

Additional 2 Hour Parking: 2 hour public parking is also available in the front section of the Whole Foods parking lot located at 400 Miller Avenue.

Changes to Parking Restrictions near Locust Avenue and La Goma Street: Starting in early July, parking limits will change to 2 hour parking from 9 am to 6 pm seven days a week.

City officials worked with community members and business owners in the area to make these changes to make the best, most efficient use of the parking supply and to balance the needs of residents, employees and customers. The new regulations will encourage parking turnover in the area, and City Parking Enforcement Officers will increase their enforcement in the area to ensure adherence to the new time limits. Employees and commuters are encouraged to park in the unregulated spots near Reed Street, and west of Willow Avenue.
