What happened last week:
Pacific Gas & Electric workers excavated and installed electrical cables from October 31 and November 7 and are expected to finish November 8, weather permitting. Work crews replaced sewer laterals and cleanouts on both the 8-inch and 15-inch sewer lines in the Parkway Room between Millwood Street and Park Avenue. The contractor replaced sewer laterals and cleanouts in the Passage area near downtown. Work crews did demolition, placed new concrete and did landscape work on the south side of Miller Avenue between Tamalpais Paint & Color and Montford Avenue. Work in the Marsh Room near Tam High continues to be on hold.

What is happening this week:
Pacific Gas & Electric workers are expected to finish excavation and installing electrical cables on November 8-9, weather permitting. Once PG&E has finished that work, the contractor will resume installation of the 36-inch storm drain in that area around Miller Avenue and Montford Avenue. That will conclude the main storm drain work on Miller Avenue. Work crews also continue to replace sewer laterals and cleanouts on both the 8-inch and 15-inch sewer lines in the Parkway Room between Millwood Street and Park Avenue as well as the sewer laterals and cleanouts in the Passage area near downtown. The contractor will pour the concrete for the 7-Eleven driveway on the north side of Miller Avenue at Locust Avenue, and the driveway will reopen after seven days once it is poured. Work crews will install concrete sidewalk, curbs and gutters along the south side of Miller Avenue between Once Around and Pilates ProWorks, as well as the first half of the entrance to the Chevron gas station. The contractor will also do some minor grinding of the existing asphalt of Miller Avenue as well.

What to expect in the next few weeks:
Work crews will continue to install concrete sidewalk, curbs and gutters along the south side of Miller Avenue between Once Around and Pilates ProWorks, as well as the first half of the entrance to the Chevron gas station. The contractor will continue to replace sewer laterals and cleanouts on both the 8-inch and 15-inch sewer lines in the Parkway Room between Millwood Street and Park Avenue as well as the sewer laterals and cleanouts in the Passage area near downtown. Work crews will conduct video analysis of the completed sewer system and do some general cleanup as well.
