First Wednesday: Reflections on Making Little League History | April 5th, 7pm

Mill Valley Historical Society Presents
Reflections on Making Little League History with Jenny Fulle, Ad Addeo, and Lee Hunt

In 1972 Jenny Fulle, just nine years old, pretended to be a boy so she could sign up to play Little League in Mill Valley. Denied because of her sex, Jenny put up a fight that hurled her out of Boyle Park and all the way to the Marin Superior Court and to the United States Congress.

Join us for a panel discussion with a grown-up Jenny Fulle, former Mill Valley Parks and Recreation Commissioner Ed Addeo, and award-winning mediation attorney Lee Hunt, as we revisit the events that almost shut down Little League across the country. The case challenged sexist norms of the day and instigated a legal battle for gender equality and the right for all children to BATTER UP!
