Innovative educator Ramsey Musallam highlights the books that drive him - like On the Road (that pun is free of charge). He wanders Into the Wild with Jon Krakauer and considers The Perks of Being a Wallflower with Steven Chbosky. And unlike most of us, he has even made it all the way through David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest!

Bio: Ramsey Musallam teaches science at Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa and is a host of the internet TV series The Infinite Thinking Machine. A leading thinker of the flipped classroom movement and a proponent of the potential of technology to inspire students, his insightful TED talk, "Three Rules to Spark Learning," is a favorite of educators looking to break the mold.

Ramsey Musallam's eight books:

  1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Steven Chbosky
  2. Beloved by Toni Morrison
  3. Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke
