The Mill Valley Arts Commission is pleased to announce the 21st annual Click Off photography competition. The subject categories are designed to highlight Marin County’s unique characteristics and each photographer’s perspective through the camera lens, cell phone photos encouraged.
Contest fees: $25/adult (16+) or $15/person 15 years & under or 62 years & over
The photography subject categories will be randomly chosen by participants at the “Click Off -Kick Off" which will be held at the Mill Valley Community Center, Mill Valley on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 6:00pm. If participants cannot attend the Kick Off event categories will be randomly assigned and provided to participants the following day via email.
Participants will have until November 6, 2019 to capture digital pictures that best represent the subject category assigned to them and electronically upload a single image entry to the competition.
At the “Kick Off” event, participants may sign up for an editing session at the Kick Off event or you may make an appointment with The Image Flow at 415-388-3569. Participants will have the opportunity to spend 15 minutes with a professional photographer who will provide guidance in selecting and enhancing the best image for judging.
Whether you choose to attend an editing session or load your entry on your own, images must be uploaded to the Click- Off designated website (TBA) no later than November 6, 2019.
The top contestants in each category will win excellent prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and honorable mention. Prizes will be awarded for Best Youth Photograph (15 & under) and Best in Show. The winning photographs will be displayed at the Mill Valley Community Center during the month of December, with an award ceremony and artist reception held on Tuesday, December 3rd.
The deadline to apply for the Click Off ONLINE will be Tuesday, October 22 by 5pm.
IN PERSON applications will only be accepted at the Click Off Kick-Off , Tuesday October 22nd 6pm-7:30pm.
