The Lucretia Little History Room is excited to host our very first Home Movie Day on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Home Movie Day 2023 is a fun and informative event that will bring your films back to life while adding to the greater understanding of Mill Valley history.
Join us in the library's Creekside Room between 3:00PM-5:30PM. Do you have home movies to share with us? Please help us prepare by filling out our short questionnaire by Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Completion of the form is mandatory in order to participate!
Please bring your media the History Room at noon on October 21st so that volunteers may inspect your treasures prior to projecting them for the public.
Long before phone cameras and social media, small-gauge film stock like 16mm, Super 8, and videotape made it possible for people to document their lives at home and abroad. For two decades, Home Movie Day events all over the world have made it possible for individuals to share and reconnect with their own films.
