Due to rising cases of COVID-19 within Marin County, the Department of Public Works office will be closed to the public until February 1st, 2022. Please schedule an appointment with staff for in-person services. Otherwise, please email your inquiries to the Public Works general email.

The mission of the Department of Public Works is to manage, maintain and operate public facilities and public rights-of-way. Our primary responsibilities include engineering, development reviews, parks, streets, storm drains, street lights, traffic signals, sewage collection, and public buildings.

Phone and online consultation are preferred.

If in-person consultation is needed, patrons may schedule an appointment or come to City Hall during Public Counter Hours.
