Grading Permits

Contractors can apply for a permit online, but if this is your first time applying for a permit online, you will need to request a user account. To request an account please contact Dante Rovero, Engineering Technician, by email, with your State License Number and contact information including your address, phone number, and email address.

Please Note: All Grading Permits will require civil plan sheets for submittal. Those documents will need to be attached to your application. You must also submit two (2) full size hard copy sets of civil plans and one (1) set is PDF format. Once your application and three (3) sets of civil plans are received they will be reviewed for compliance, this may take up to 14 working days. We can not begin review until we have received all three (3) sets of plans

All applications for grading permits should include 3 copies of the following:

  • Full size Civil sheets
  • Erosion and sediment control plan
  • Construction management plan with Work Schedule
  • Site Plan
  • Foundation Plan including Grading and Draining Hydraulic calculations and structural calculations (if necessary)
  • Geotechnical / Soils Engineering Report
  • Security Deposit (To be determined upon review)
