Summer reading is coming soon!
Starting June 10 you can pick up a "Dare to Draw" sheet for TEENS/TWEENS and you'll get a free book right away! In the meantime, download a schedule of summer events here. We have something for kids and teens on Mondays through Thursdays, starting June 15. Some events require advance registration. Registration is open now! Click here to sign up.

NEW: Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B)
Are you interested in volunteering at the Mill Valley Public Library? Well, here's your chance.. Mill Valley's Public Library's Teen Advisory Board is back! The TAB will kick-off with an orientation Monday, June 13th at 3:30pm. Volunteers will be helping with all Summer Reading events. Volunteering for Summer Reading Program start Wednesday, June 15th. All volunteering for the events will be 3:00pm-5:00pm Monday-Thursday. Other volunteer opportunities may become available throughout the summer. (Grades 6-12 only) Sign-up here to be a part of all the fun.
NEW: Teen Book Bundles
Do you ever have a hard time finding what to read next? Let us get you some great books to try. With a Teen Book Bundle you’ll get a selection of Young Adult titles hand-picked by a Librarian and tailored to what you enjoy. Do you like romance or fantasy or dystopias? Maybe you’re craving horror or comedy or stark realism, or something else entirely. Whatever your taste, click here to answer a few quick questions about what you like and don’t like to read. Then we’ll choose three great books and put them on hold for you to pick up at the Library. It’s that easy to discover some great new books, and they’re chosen just for you.
Book Enthusiasts: Teen Book Club
This Month's book is Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King Tuesday, July 12th, 7pm
Looking for a new club to join that combines the love of reading and making new friends? Join the Book Enthusiasts! The meetings are once a month and you and your fellow Book Enthusiasts will pick your favorite Young Adult novels to read and discuss. If you have any questions, email jbrown@cityofmillvalley.org.
