Welcome to our Pool & Spa
An inclusive beautiful indoor facility featuring a 3 lane main pool 25 yards long and 4 - 5' deep, water slide, shallow cove pool and 11 person spa. Our facility is ADA accessible and has multiple programs from water walking and lap swim to a wide variety of water exercise classes, swim lessons and family swim.
Aquatics & Fitness Passes
In order to participate in one of our group fitness classes and access our gym and pool facilities, you will need to purchase a Welcome Back Pass. We have Annual, 30-Day Recurring and Single-Visit Passes available for purchase now. View details about our Aquatics & Fitness Passes.
Please Note: A registration account is required to purchase Annual, 30-Day Recurring and Single-Visit Passes. If you haven't already done so, please create your registration account and sign your waiver on MyMVR.org.
*Virtual Fitness Classes are considered Premium Group Fitness Classes and are not included with our Aquatics & Fitness Passes.

General Rules
- Appropriate etiquette and behavior are required at all times. Violations may result in revocation of an Aquatics & Fitness Pass.
- Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave the facility immediately.
- Photography and videography are restricted to MV Rec staff only.
- Please report unsafe etiquette or behavior to MV Rec staff.
- MV Rec staff have the final authority over facility rules.
- Mill Valley Recreation is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
- Code of Conduct must be followed at all times.

Swimming Pool Rules
- Patrons may not enter the pool, spa, pool deck or patio without a lifeguard on duty.
- All patrons must shower immediately before entering the pool.
- All swimmers must wear proper swim attire. No cut offs, undergarments, jeans, or other clothing made of cotton.
- Hair that is shoulder length or longer, must be tied back or in a swim cap.
- Persons with skin infections or open sores may not swim.
- No running on the pool deck.
- No diving, running, rough play, pushing, dunking, or fighting allowed at any time.
- Feet first entries only.
- To prevent shallow water blackouts, extended breath holding is not permitted.
- No gum or tobacco products allowed.
- Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted.
- Water in plastic or metal bottles only. No other food or drink permitted.
- Glass containers are NOT permitted in the Aquatics & Fitness Center.
- No personal training, therapy, instruction, or fitness sessions with a non-MV Rec staff are allowed in the facility or City property.
- Management will determine when the roof/windows will be open.
- The pool is programmed to allow for the best use by all community members. There may be more than one program occurring in the pool at a time. While we do not encourage it, splashing may occur.
- Children 3 and under, or anyone not toilet trained, must always wear a swim diaper.
- Children 6 and under (as well as any child who is deemed not a strong swimmer) must always have an adult in the water within arm’s reach.
- Children ages 7-10 must have an adult on deck and in view of the child.
- Children ages 11-13 must have an adult in the Aquatics & Fitness Center.

Lap Swim Rules
- There are 3 lanes, swimmers must share and be courteous to others.
- Alert person(s) swimming in the lane PRIOR to entering.
- Choose the lane that best meets your speed.
- Be AWARE of others in your lane.
- The lifeguard has the right to move swimmers depending on their speed and the speed of other swimmers.
- No lane splitting. Circle swim only.
- Pass at the wall and move to the side or corners of the lane to rest.

Spa Rules
- All patrons must shower immediately before entering the spa.
- For health and safety reasons, we do not allow life jackets or swim diapers in the spa at any time.
- Elderly persons, pregnant women and persons with health conditions should consult with a physician before using the spa.
- Observe a reasonable time limit of 10-15 minutes. Longer exposure may result in nausea, dizziness, or fainting.
- Hair that is shoulder length or longer, must be tied back or in a swim cap.
- All spa users must wear proper swim attire. No cut offs, undergarments, jeans, or other clothing made of cotton.
- Children 4 and under are not allowed.
- Children 5-14 must have an adult in the spa.
- The maximum occupancy is 11 people.
- No talking on cell phones.

Slide Rules
- Slide Attendant MUST be on duty to use the slide.
- Riders must be at least 48 inches tall to use the slide.
- 300lb maximum weight limit.
- NO running on the stairs.
- Only ONE rider permitted at a time.
- Eyeglasses/goggles must be secured with straps.
- Swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation is not permitted.
- Riders MUST wait for the attendants start signal before entering the slide.
- Slide must be ridden feet first laying on back or seated.
PRO TIP: (Sit up=Slower, Lay down =Faster). - Keep your arms and hands inside the slide.
- Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate, or stop on the slide.
- Water depth at splash pool is 3ft. 6in.
- At the end of the slide, obey all instructions by the splash pool lifeguard and exit splash pool as quickly as possible.
- Only one person is permitted in the Splash pool while Slind is in operation.
- CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women & persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride this slide.
