Be Prepared When Visiting Mill Valley

Good Neighbor Guide

As the weather gets better and visitors stay for an extended period of time in our community we encourage them to be courteous of your short-term neighbors. This includes reducing noise, keeping debris contained, respecting the local rules, and following emergency guidance that is designed to keep everyone safe.

Southern Marin Fire Protection District is looking out for your safety and we ask that you take a brief moment to read through what to do if an emergency strikes during your planned stay. Marin County is no stranger to natural disasters such as a wildland fire, earthquake, flood, high-wind public power safety shut-offs (PSPS), or days of poor air quality to name a few examples. But there are simple steps that you can take, so that you and your family are prepared to respond in any of these situations.

Please be sure to download the Good Neighbor Guide so our visitors and residents can be prepared for a natural disaster.

Thank you to the Mill Valley Emergency Preparedness Commission (EPC) for developing this informational packet for visitors, businesses and residents. This information is to provide ongoing awareness and education, related to emergency and disaster preparedness.
