Work is underway to rehabilitate the roadway, giving the community a better driving surface, as well as repairing the aging sewer system to provide better sewage flows for residences and businesses. Work crews will install permanent traffic signs this week.
New Permanent Traffic Pattern Change (Ashford / Meadow):
Starting Tuesday, June 28, 2022: A mountable median island was placed to block the slip lane into Ashford Avenue from westbound Blithedale Avenue. Please note the new crosswalk on Ashford Avenue near the Chevron gas station.

New This Week:
East Blithedale Rehabilitation Phase 1 (between Tower Drive and Amicita Avenue):
Argonaut Constructors will set permanent traffic signs. Please note that work crews have not yet completed the full traffic striping and anticipate changing striping conditions. Argonaut is building the mountable median island. The new configuration restricts vehicle access onto Ashford Ave. and permits bikes and emergency vehicles only.
East Blithedale Rehabilitation Phase 2 (between Sunnyside Avenue and Mesa Avenue):
Argonaut's sanitary sewer crew is working to rehabilitate service lateral connections between Millwood Street and Sunnyside Avenues along the Northside. Also, they are making spot repairs to the sewer main. The estimated completion of this work is now July 11, 2022.
Marin Municipal Water District Pipeline Replacement:
MMWD will perform waterline service connections along East Blithedale between Amicita Avenue and Elm Avenue (Alta Vista). Crew will pothole for utility conflicts between Alta Vista and Dell Lane.
