
Councilmember Max Perrey
Max Perrey was sworn in on the Mill Valley City Council in June 2022. Prior to serving on the City Council, Max was a member of the City's Emergency Preparedness Commission from 2019-2022, serving as Chair in 2022. Max's other previous roles have included as a member of the Citizen's Oversight Committee of the Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority from 2020-2022, as a trained member of CERT, and as Co-Chair of Sustainable Mill Valley from 2019-2022.
Professionally, Max is the Director of Policy & External Relations for the Redwood Community Health Coalition (RCHC), a 6 county association of community health centers on the frontlines of providing healthcare services to low-income communities. Max has a BA from UC Santa Cruz and a Masters degree from the London School of Economics. He lives in the Boyle Park neighborhood of Mill Valley, is a 15 time Dipsea race finisher, and enjoys hiking, tennis, and cooking as hobbies.
