Residential Kitchen & Bath

Please note Non-Structural Kitchen and Bath Remodels require plans be submitted for review and approval. Please review our handout for additional information. Do not apply for structural kitchen or bath remodels here, please use the application known as Plan Check Residential.

Contractors or Architects can apply for a permit online, but if this is your first time applying for a permit online, you will need to create a user account. To apply for these permits you will need to have an account. If you do not already have one, please contact Athena Langdon, Permit Services Coordinator at  with your state license number, contact information including your address, phone number and email address.

Once your application is received it will be reviewed for compliance. This may take up to 7 working days. You will receive confirmation that the application was received and a Dropbox transfer request where you can upload your plan set and accompanying documentation.

When you are ready to apply please attach your plans to the application, on our website. At the very least we will need a floor plan of the area of work including any mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Sometimes a site plan and/ or elevations may be required if you are creating new openings, installing exterior equipment, etc.

Also, Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Alarm compliance will be required at the final inspection.
