Bayfront Park Volunteer Clean Up Day - Saturday, November 11

Calling all volunteers!

November, 11th at 9:00am – 11:00am
At the end of Sycamore Ave, next to the Middle School
Everyone is welcome! Tools provided!

The City of Mill Valley is launching our new monthly workdays starting this Saturday, November 11th cleaning up Bayfront Park. Bayfront Park, located at the end of Sycamore Drive just past Mill Valley Middle School, is one of the crown jewels of Mill Valley. This park area is used by kids and adults every day and includes soccer and baseball fields, a skatepark, a dog park and soon a brand-new boat dock. Since this area is one of the most visible spots in the City, we wanted to kick-off our volunteer program here.

Grasses, weeds and invasive species have taken over our beautiful gardens and it’s up to us to help clean it up. We will work in several areas around the circle, pulling weeds and non-natives and spreading mulch.

What you should bring:

  1. Wear long pants and long sleeves to protect you from scratches.
  2. Bring gardening gloves if you have them but we will have extra gloves.
  3. Bring your water bottle as we will have a big container of fresh water to drink.

Please fill out the form online or print out our application here and send it to me via email. Thank you so much! I look forward to seeing you soon in a park, on a trail or just around town.
