Camino Alto Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Miller Ave To East Blithedale Avenue
July 22, 2019 through Wednesday August 28, 2019

In May 2019, the City of Mill Valley completed the federally funded project adding Class II bike lanes on Camino Alto between Miller Avenue and East Blithedale Avenue, as well as installing new traffic control video detection and signal hardware upgrades of the signalized intersections along this corridor. This project will include grinding the existing pavement, installing new pavement overlay, upgrading the existing curb ramps to meet ADA standards and installing new green bike markings.

The project will take approximately six weeks to complete depending on weather conditions. The contractor will do their best to complete the project faster than the allowed time frame. Construction work will take place on weekdays only and work is not allowed on holidays.

This improvement requires lane closures/lane shifts/traffic delays for the duration of the project. All signs will be posted 48 hours in advance of work. “No Parking” signs will be posted 3 days in advance of work.

Construction work will not affect emergency vehicle access or response time. Please call 911 if you require emergency assistance.

We invite you to stay informed by signing up for updates.
