Molino Park is so well hidden, only local residents seem to know the little gem is there, at the corner of Molino Avenue and Janes Street. This unassuming park has play structures for children, a picnic area, and grass lawn with a ‘poop and scoop’ station for dogs. It is small, but lovely. Now it is better than ever with several new improvements completed by Public Works Operations Division.
Photo 1: One of two new safety barriers. These now protect folks from stepping out of their cars when parked on Molino Avenue adjacent to the park. These two Barriers act as a ‘stop’ to prevent falls over a steep slope and keep car tires from the edge. DPW also removed an informal and dangerous set of steps in the corner of the park that may have been placed rogue-style years ago.
