Recycling Fresh Christmas Trees After the Holidays

Zero Waste Marin has arranged for curbside pick up on certain days as well as drop off points throughout Marin County. 

Tree preparation for both curbside collection and drop-off:

• Remove all tree stands (metal, plastic, wood), ornaments, lights, tinsel, etc.
• Flocked trees will not be accepted.
• Apartment building tenants should contact their manager and request that they set up one day for holiday tree collection at the property. 

Mill Valley Refuse customers in Almonte, Alto, Mill Valley, Homestead, and Strawberry may have their trees picked up starting the week of Jan 4, 2021. Please put tree on curb on your regular green waste pick-up day. Trees over 5ft must be cut in half.
