August 25, 2020

Update: Promote Democracy: Serve as a Poll Worker!

Before each statewide election, thousands of Californians sign up to help put on the single most important event we hold in a democracy. County elections officials depend on reliable, dedicated teams of poll workers to make every Election Day run smoothly.

Overview
The Marin County Elections Department is continually seeking people dedicated to the democratic process who are able to serve at a polling place. Poll workers are responsible for issuing ballots, assisting voters, and closing the polls.

For the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election the polls will be open three days before the election for 8 hours each day and on Election Day, 7am to 8pm.
