Marin Air Quality Impacted By California Fires - 9/9/20

Ominous orange skies are looming over Southern Marin. Southern Marin Fire District is here to remind you that due to the heavy smoke and falling ash from several of the California fires, please take note of these safety reminders:

-Stay indoors to avoid breathing the air. 

-Wear a mask if you leave your home.

-Drive with your headlights on, slow down, and avoid distractions.

-Have your emergency evacuation bag packed.

-Be prepared for an evacuation warning or order, sign up at AlertMarin.org.
