Seats Open on Several Special District Boards

At their meeting on June 15, the City Council reviewed suggested ideas for City action to address racial inequities in the community. A recommendation listed in the Staff Report included: "Create pathways to civic engagement that make it clear BIPOC are welcome to participate and lead in local government."

Update: Marin County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for appointments to five local special district boards of directors.

Of interest to Mill Valley and Southern Marin residents may be:

  • Marin City Community Services District – one four-year seat
  • Southern Marin Fire Protection District – one four-year seat
